Pegasus Skilled Medical Care
In home skilled medical care is typically prescribed by the physician. Pegasus’ staff of medical professionals works closely with your doctors and other health professionals to ensure that all clinical and medical needs are completely met. Timing is of utmost importance and our efficient referral and intake system ensures that most patients are seen within 24 hours by a clinical staff member who develops a plan of care tailored to your needs. Our staff will also work with you through the often very daunting world of medical insurance.
Our team of medical professionals includes Registered and Licensed Vocational Nurses, Physical and Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists and Medical Social Workers. The complete list of Skilled Medical Services we provide is listed at left but, in short, our services provide everything from cardiac care to wound care to complete physical rehabilitation services, all in the comfort of your own home.
In addition, each of our field staff is equipped with “point of care devices.” These state-of-the-art remote communication devices allow our team of professionals to be in constant communication with us, allowing for real-time updates and important patient information.
Telehealth Monitoring: Pegasus offers in-home Telehealth monitoring ensuring the highest level of professional care. These in-home monitoring devices allow both nurses andphysicians to receive up to the minute information on vital signs and patient status. Physicians are able to see their patients monitoring results online and allows them to continually monitor their patient’s progress and implement necessary changes. Pegasus will install this device in your home and thoroughly train you on its use.
In conjunction with our skilled care services, many of our clients also require personal care services to help them with day-to-day tasks such as bathing, cleaning housekeeping and meal preparation. Pegasus will coordinate all skilled and personal care services required. We are committed to providing to finest medical and personal care possible using the most up-to-date technology.
